About C2H2
Computing and Cybersecurity for Human Health (C2H2) Lab focuses on promoting research and education of health informatics and cybersecurity. We aim to improve human health outcomes and protect the data, systems, devices, and users who are accessing sensitive information.
Why we pursue our mission:
Computing plays a critical role in helping to improve patient health outcomes, while managing our population's health through accurate and reliable exchange of data.
The use of innovative computing technologies, medical devices, and the exchange of health information poses serious threats to patient security and privacy.
Pursuing the mission:
Research within the C2H2 lab develops effective models, architectures, and applications designed to enhance human health and mitigate or remove security vulnerabilities while enhancing patient health and safety. Read more in the Research page.
Possesing a range of both academic and industrial experience in the areas of computer science, data science, medicine, network engineering, and cybersecurity. Our members contribute their unique talents to our mission. See our list of members in the People page.
C2H2 works with industry partners. We have established external partnerships with medical institutions and organizations who share our vision of computing and cybersecurity in research and education. See our current list of partners in our Collaborations page.
